Book review in New York Times

Below is a link to an interesting book review in the New York Times. Although this book has been out for awhile, the book review relates so well to the global/international perspective we are taking in this class, that it is well worth reading. After reading this book review I feel like we should all give each other pats on the back for the explorations that we will be doing in this course, as this book review talks about the importance of the type of thinking we are doing here in Women's and Gender Studies 201, & the importance of Women's and Gender Studies itself to the core curriculum.
